The second-largest city in Oklahoma, Tulsa, has a welcoming, small-town atmosphere. However, the city is currently seeing a population decline of -0.3% annually. To combat that, the city has launched an initiative in partnership with the George Kaiser Family Foundation—Tulsa Remote.

Participants in the program receive a $10,000 grant, provided in installments over one year. In addition to the grant, Tulsa Remote offers networking events, community engagement opportunities, and connections to local resources to help newcomers integrate into the Tulsa community.
